A first week of papermaking
In the summer of 2023, I was finally able to set aside some time to spend making paper. I’d recently acquired a small Hollander beater, and had several boxes of old cotton bedsheets; I gave myself a week to see what could be done with them.
The process was successful enough to make it worthwhile writing a small book documenting it all, and to print it on paper made during that week.
Each copy contains sheets of three different papers, made from three different fibres (cotton, hessian and hemp), and has a few accompanying photos of the chaotic garden.
Limited edition of 21 numbered copies, with 6 lettered copies not for sale. Copies ordered before the end of January 2024 should be delivered before June.
