Just because you’re a fascist, that doesn’t mean you know nothing about books.
Every year, Nick’s very pleased to man the proofing press at the Whittington Press Open Day; this small tradition started when he worked at Hand & Eye letterpress, and has continued after he moved away. On the day, visitors are able to print their own copy of the poster, which Nick’s set at home and brought down to Gloucestershire for the occasion.
These are the last few copies of the poster from 2018. It was set in set in newly-cast 72pt and 14pt Centaur type, with a hand-cut circle in the middle of each sheet.
